There have been countless people who have impacted my life in big ways. If I went back and started in childhood I could probably name dozens if not more.

But I don’t think any of them have had a bigger impact than Bob Proctor. He opened my mind to so many ideas, thoughts and possibilities that helped me create incredible momentum in my life.

We have had the great honor of speaking on Bob’s stages several times and the great pleasure of having him speak on ours. Some of the best life-changing information I’ve ever heard was shared at those events which we were fortunate enough to record.

Just like Lisa Jimenez, I was first introduced to Cynthia Kersey through a book I received from Bob Proctor.

And that book, Unstoppable, was was of the most influential books I’ve every read. For months it was the last thing I read before I went to bed every night.

It was a great experience some years later to welcome Cynthia to one of our events where she wowed our audience with a powerful message on becoming unstoppable when pursuing your dream.

I was a member of Bob Proctor’s Mentoring Group (at the time he had no idea who I was) when he sent out an incredible book to us for our Book of the Month. He was so impressed with Lisa Jimenez’s Conquer Fear that he had purchased the first books off the press to distribute to his group.

It wasn’t long after that when we began to offer eBooks to our AsAManThinketh.net audience and we contacted Lisa about offering Conquer Fear in an eBook format. It quickly became one of our subscribers’ favorites and a teleseminar series with Lisa soon followed.

At the peak of a blossoming tennis career while just a junior in high school, Randy Snow was injured in a farming accident, which left him without the use of his legs. He would spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.

But Randy never used that as an excuse. Instead, he turned it into a strength. In the process he became the most successful wheelchair athlete in history and the first person ever inducted into the Olympic Hall of Fame in a wheelchair.

Randy electrified our audience in Dallas as he did audiences all around the world. I was very sad when I learned he had passed away suddenly in November 2009. But, as was typical of Randy, he was doing something he loved —  volunteering at a wheelchair tennis camp in El Salvador.

I am so grateful that he left us with his incredible message that regardless of what happens to us, there are NO EXCUSES! And that’s certainly one of the Best of the First 10 Years of AsAManThinketh.net .

There’s no question that one of the biggest highlights of our first 10 years on the web was creating a relationship with Jim Rohn and sharing his material with hundreds of thousands around the world.

I have Kyle Wilson, who was the Founder and President of Jim Rohn International, to thank for the relationship. Kyle also made it possible for me to speak at Jim’s event as well as Jim speaking at several of ours.

Even today I listen to Jim’s audios and it’s like he’s standing there sharing that “Idaho farmboy wisdom” with me. I’ve met very few people in my life who could put life in the simple perspectives that Jim could.

And I’ve never met anybody who gave so much of himself to share with others. Jim traveled millions of miles, stayed in thousands of hotels, and I’m sure ate a rubber banquet chicken or two in order to bring his timeless message to millions of people in every corner of the globe.

They don’t make ’em like Jim anymore. And I hope you’ll enjoy this priceless audio message that kicks off our Best of 10 Week.
